We are all dreamers. More or less. We all have things that we want to see happening, cause we believe they will make us happy, somehow.
But those things, despite the general believe, are usually not the ones on our bucket list. It’s the other kinda category that has no words to describe them. Circumstances that were never planned. They were not part of our life’s road map until we stumbled over them. Most people pursue their happiness by maintaining this undefined hope. A hope for something coming in the future that gives us a ride on our long walk home. A hope For something changing, turning and so and so. Hope is their fuel, their motivation to go on.
And i think thats not right. Its a big mistake. Talking about me, I can honestly tell you that I have always been happiest among those days, when I decided to give up hope at all.
In this state, your are indestructible, you know. No one, no nothing can hurt you. You don’t expect anything. Thats engraved truth one side of the coin.
You think Okay, I get it, I’m prepared for the worst, but you hold out that small hope, see, and that’s what fucks you up. That’s what kills you.

Now, we flip the coin. If you maintain hope, for whatever, anything lies in front of you. You can win something, thats true. But most propably you wont. Just because life prefers to play Black Jack with us.
Got it? Alright, lets flip it back. Look at it from this point of view: Every thing that happens while not believing, will be a surprise. A gift. Like a rainbow on a stormy day. An unexpected drop of color on a picture that you have drawn, meant to be black and white in the first place. It will add something to your void. That’s a good thing, right?
See, If you expect it to happen, if you look for the rainbow that will never come, things can just be taken away from you.
Hope is a burden, not a positive state of mind. That’s how it is. Dont seek for the rainbow, if it’s meant to be, it will be there…
